In 2002 a Korean co-worker of mine claimed she had been to 'paradise' on holiday and suggested i should do the same if i wanted to unwind and rejenuvate after a busy year's work. At first i thought 'paradise' was a figure of speech. Only later did i find out it is a very aptly named resort in the Maldives! Just how much the name fit, I realized only when i took my friend's advice and went there last year - it really is paradise! not just that resort but every inch of Maldives!
